August 19th is International Orangutan Day! Our Baby Animal Environmental Hero Series Book, Princess, is written in collaboration with Dr. Gary Shapiro, Head of the Orang Utan Republik Foundation (OURF) and geared towards pre-school to early elementary school-aged readers. Princess is a heartfelt story based on Dr. Shapiro's real life experience rescuing a displaced Orangutan, caring for her, and teaching her sign language, which was a first. Green Kids Club (GKC) always donates a portion of proceeds of Princess to OURF to support saving orangutans through their education initiatives and collaborative projects. This week, for International Orangutan Day, GKC will donate 100% of proceeds from Princess book purchases to the OURF - OR use the BUTTON below to donate at least $25 or more directly to the OURF and receive BOTH a book and plush orangutan toy!
