New Books from Green Kids Club

Our newest book, Grizzly 399, is now available! This book depicts the life of Grand Teton National Park’s famous Grizzly Bear 399. Sylvia Medina worked on this story with Tom Mangelsen, an esteemed wildlife photographer who has chronicled the life of Grizzly Bear 399 through his photos. Grizzly Bear 399 is the most famous bear mother in the world and even has her own Facebook and Twitter accounts! A portion of the proceeds from this book will go to support the Cougar Fund.

And don't miss The Belize Trash Monster! The story shows some of the effects of tourism and pollution on oceans. The Green Kids, Maya, Victor and Tiago, help a seaside community to become a better steward of their beautiful backyard by stopping a Trash Monster from invading scenic Belize.

Baby Animal Environmental Heroes.  The Green Kids Club's new series is led by baby animals with captivating illustrations and heart-warming stories:
  • Do you love elephants? In Learning About Elephants with Molelo and FriendsMolelo and his friends will share tons of facts from their personal experiences. Elephants Without Borders (EWB) collaborated with us on this book, and they will receive a portion of the book's proceeds to help elephants in Botswana. Other books benefitting EWB are Elee and the Shining Star! , where Elee is busy trying to find a waterhole that never goes dry, and Molelo, the Fire Elephant, which is based on the true story of a baby elephant that survived a bush fire.
  • Little Moyo is based on a true story of a young black rhinoceros who lost his mother to poachers, but found his way to a rhino sanctuary. A portion of our proceeds from this book will go to support Saving the Survivors, an organization on the front lines helping endangered animals in need.
  • Princess, an orphaned baby orangutan, is rescued by Gary who teaches her not only how to be an orangutan, but sign language as well. A portion of our proceeds from this book will go to support the Orang Utan Republik Foundation.

Green Kids Club Supports

Non-Profit Organizations

For the last several years, Green Kids Club has been promoting educational materials and story lines with Elephants Without Borders. We have also co-written books with the Orang Utan Republik Foundation and Saving the Survivors. We believe these groups, and other organizations like them, are doing very important work on the front lines to save our wildlife for future generations. You can help make a difference too! When you purchase anything from our store, a portion of the proceeds goes directly to the wildlife organization of your choice.

Learn more about all of the non-profits we support on our Non-Profit Initiatives and Organizations We Support pages.
